JLC Learning Centre
Small classes.
Real attention.
Steady progress.
Live online tuition for Primary and Secondary students in Singapore — capped at six students a class, so no child sits at the back.
How we teach
Four things we hold to
Six students, maximum
Small enough that the teacher sees every child's written work each week, and knows which one is quietly lost.
Taught live, not recorded
Lessons run over Zoom in real time. Children ask questions when they are stuck, which is the moment an answer is worth most.
Technique, not just content
Most marks are lost in how an answer is written, not in what a child knows. We teach that difference explicitly.
Honest advice about fit
If a class is not right for your child, we will say so. We would rather lose an enrolment than waste your term.
Programmes
Classes by level and subject
Primary and Secondary programmes across English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese, History and Chemistry.

P3 English
The jump from P2 to P3 catches many children out. This class rebuilds comprehension and writing from the ground up, before the gap widens.

P4 Science
P4 is the first formal year of Science. Getting the habits of observation and explanation right now makes P5 and P6 considerably easier.

P5 Science
The syllabus shifts from recall to applying concepts in unfamiliar situations. This class teaches the reasoning that shift demands.

P6 Science
A full-syllabus revision class built around past-paper question types, with weekly written practice and detailed marking.

P6 Math
A PSLE preparation class built on recognising question types, so your child knows which method to reach for before starting to write.

P3–P4 Chinese
For families where Chinese is not spoken much at home. We build vocabulary, comprehension and composition from where your child actually is.
Getting started
How joining works
Tell us about your child
Send an enquiry with your child's level and the subject you are considering. A sentence about what they find hard is enough.
We reply with what fits
We confirm current availability and recommend the class that suits — or say honestly if we are not the right centre for your child.
Start, and we keep you posted
Lessons begin. You hear from us about how your child is getting on, not only when a payment is due.
Ask about a class
Tell us your child's level and what they are finding difficult. We will reply with class availability, usually within one working day.
We use your details only to answer your enquiry. No mailing list, no sharing with third parties. See our privacy policy.
