Jeff Learning Centre Pte Ltd ("we", "us") is committed to protecting the personal data of the families we work with. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

When you make an enquiry or enrol a child, we may collect:

  • Your name, phone number and email address
  • Your child's name, level and school
  • Information you choose to tell us about your child's learning needs
  • Records of lessons attended and work submitted, once enrolled

We do not collect NRIC numbers, and we ask that you do not send them to us.

Why we collect it

  • To answer your enquiry and advise on suitable classes
  • To administer enrolment, scheduling and fees
  • To teach your child and report on their progress
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell personal data, and we do not add enquirers to a marketing list without asking first.

Who we share it with

Personal data is shared only with the teachers involved in your child's classes and with service providers who help us operate — for example our video conferencing and website hosting providers. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use the data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for up to twelve months if you do not enrol. For enrolled students, we keep records for as long as your child studies with us, and afterwards only for as long as we are required to for legal and accounting purposes.

How we protect it

Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it. Our website is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiry submissions are transmitted securely.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you or your child
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate
  • Withdraw your consent to our use of the data

Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide classes, and we will tell you if that is the case.
